As lockdown lingers on, we know many families are struggling to make ends meet at the moment. We’ve been really worried about this, so we applied for government funding and created a range of boxes to help feed families for less.
Healthy boxes for everyone
Our new family support boxes are open to everyone – no criteria needed, no questions asked. We want to make sure everyone’s getting the fresh fruit, veg, meat and healthy supplies they need to feed their families properly and keep those spirits high during these tough few months.
Fresh fruit and veg boxes
As local and seasonal as possible, these boxes come in two different sizes, providing enough fresh fruit, vegetables and salads to feed a family for two weeks. Full to the brim with fresh produce, these boxes also come with 30 organic eggs, given to us at a special price by Windout Farm at Tedburn St Mary.
Locally sourced meat boxes
We’ve also created three quality, premium meat boxes from Veyseys butchers in Cullompton. Choose from an array of meats including butchers choice pork sausages and a whole free range chicken. We’ve also added a few extras to every box – like beans and eggs – to help you cook up some nutritionally balanced, tasty suppers.
Add a few extras
In need of a few extras to bulk out those large family meals? Our lovely supplier, Egg Runs from Crediton, has provided us with a tray of 20 double yolk, free range eggs for just £3.99. We’ve also got lots of potatoes (just 8/10 compared to our usual 10) but still a fantastic all rounder for roasting, mashing and chips. Add a 25 kg sack to your Family Support Box for just £6.
To everyone who’s supported us, it’s time for us to support you.
