It took tons of work, but we finally got there in the end… our fruit, veg, salad and fruit & veg boxes are completely Plastic Free! It was a huge challenge but we finally got it down and man does it feel good! It even saved us a couple quid, which is a bit of a bonus, lol. Any plastic containers that get delivered, we’ve worked it out that they can be sent back and reused or for our suppler to repurpose them and for us to have an alternative.
Just to clarify (as we have had one concerned customer point this out) any boxes that have meat items will still have a small amount of plastic packaging, this is so that we can still meet hygiene regulations. But we are actively trying to source alternatives.
To celebrate, we’re offering £3 off any order, just use the code “plasticfree” at checkout! This offer is for a limited time only.
