The purpose of this box is simple: to combat food waste.

Through helping our farmers and suppliers sell the produce they might be struggling to sell, the savings we will then pass on to you! Not too mention you will have way more variety than our regular fruit, veg & salad boxes as the contents of which will be changing constantly. After all it’s always good to try new things, remember variety is indeed the spice of life!

Now the reason some seasons our farmers and suppliers might be struggling is simply because they have grown a bit too much of something, this is called a glut. Which means they are stuck with all of this wonderful first class produce that simply will just go to waste. We will then help them by buying this produce, which helps them out, for a lower costing, which helps us out and the saving will be reflected in the final box, which helps you the customer.

From start to finish, everybody is a winner AND we’ve prevented some gorgeous food from going to waste.

All of our local produce is sourced from one of our lovely local farmers or producers and of course all of our fruit & veg is completely plastic free!
