Spring is in the air and we’ve been watching our Devon fields come to life! We’re looking forward to all the local produce this season, but we know it’s hard for a lot of families at the mo. We’re not quite out of the woods yet. So, with this in mind, we’ve freshened up our boxes – making sure they’re as affordable as poss – and added a great value Spring Super Saver to welcome this new, hopeful season. Brighter times are coming…
The Spring Super Saver
We’ve put together this very special, affordable box just for spring. This one’s not to be missed with a huge array of seasonal fruit and veg, local meat and farm shop produce, Sidmouth baked cupcakes (almost too beautiful to eat) and local coffee or tea for you to celebrate an afternoon in the garden.
Created with the simple intention of feeding families for less this season, this box is bursting with all the food you’ll need for a fortnight. We always put these boxes together with meals in mind so inside you’ll find everything from local meat to organic pasta – as well as plenty of fresh fruit & veg.
This season you’ll see plenty of fresh spring greens and long healthy stems of deep purple kale nestled in our boxes. As well as beets, swedes, cabbages, cauliflowers and a whole lot more local produce picked from Devon fields and delivered to your door.
We love seeing our Devon farms come back to life with so much energy – spring’s in full swing! So we’ve got together with our lovely local farmers to create a new range of boxes in celebration of this joyful time of year. Named after frolicking lambs, snuffling piglets and mooing cows, these lively boxes are bursting with the springtime hustle and bustle of a sunny West …
In all honesty, we are MASSIVE pie fans. So we figured we’d know what it takes to make a truly cracking pie. And that my friends is exactly what we’re doing! We’ve teamed up with a wonderful longstanding local baker with a goal to produce pies that not only have the Devon name on them, …
We spoke to an absolutely lovely lady today from the council by the name of Dawn 🙂 we had a good ol chat about the Family Support Boxes and some of the other things we’ve been up to as of late. She was kind enough to forward some very useful links to various support services …
My Veg in a Box arrived this week… One gloomy December morning a friendly face appeared at the door, beaming over a box of fresh groceries and greens. The box was overflowing with delicious produce: feathery carrot tops, cheery-looking rainbow chard and brilliant green broccoli florets were all peering over the sides. Placing my full-to-the-brim …
