It looks like we’ll be spending Valentine’s day at home this year. But don’t retreat to the sofa in your PJ’s just yet. Love is in the air and we’ve put together a very special, artisan Valentine’s Day Box with everything you need to celebrate a cosy, romantic evening at home.
A local artisan experience
Packed with quality, locally sourced produce, our Valentine’s dine in experience contains a delicious three course meal for two, a breakfast feast for the morning after, and a few foodie surprises to keep you entertained throughout the night. Most of the hard work’s been done, so you won’t have to worry about spending your special evening in the kitchen. We’ve even included a three course menu and some table décor to get you in the Valentine’s mood.
Tantalise your taste buds…
So what’s on the menu? Choose from a selection of freshly-baked, buttery tartlets to start (the Devon Blue cheese, walnut and pear is our favourite). We’ve then selected some locally-sourced meat by Veyseys butchers for your main, all matched with our finest sauces and a seasonal selection of vegetables. (How about crisp, colourful chantenay carrots or a beautiful bunch of purple sprouting?). For pudding, there’s Mrs Gill’s gooey chocolate brownies with local ice cream and a deliciously large dollop of clotted cream.
Much more than a meal
After dinner, it’s time to cosy up in the living room. Tuck into exquisite, handmade chocolates, put on a movie with our artisan popping corn, or toast luxury marshmallows on the open fire. We’ve even added local cheese and crackers, as well as gin & tonic cupcakes, if you’re looking for a late-night snack.
The morning after is just as important, so we’ve curated a breakfast feast for you to wake up to the next day. You’ll find fresh, free range eggs, bacon rashers, the finest sausages, a selection of fruit, Luscombe juices and much more to finish your Valentine’s local food experience.
