As things have been a bit crazy lately and we think it’s important for a business to be upfront and honest with it’s customers (especially with customers who are as lovely as ours!) I thought it would be a good idea to give a lil bit of an update as to what’s been going on with us.
Like I said in the previous post, we were not prepared for something like this. But, through some minor changes to our delivery rota and the very small price increases in our popular boxes we have been able to hire new staff and delivery drivers (who are all absolutely incredible and we can’t thank enough!). We are now a well oiled machine, efficient and organised with enough resource to deliver all orders on time wherever they are in our delivery area. We are now working as hard as we can to try to close the gap in our delivery calendar and should have more available delivery dates sooner. Again, thank you so so much to all of our lovely customers for their patience and understanding in regards to this.
Another issue I want to touch on is the importance of getting your order correct. We’ve received quite a few messages asking to amend and add items to orders after they have been made. This is incredibly time consuming for us (even with our extra staff) and it breaks my heart to say but we just cannot do it. So pretty please, make sure you’ve selected everything you want when you order.
Going forward we are going to work our hardest through this scary and uncertain time to get our goodies to our lovely, loyal customers all over the southwest. Especially the elderly and vulnerable. If we all work together I’m more than positive all will be ok.
Hi Everyone! Wow what a start to the year, so busy but load of support being shown for our new Farmers and Butchers Support Boxes which were really proud of 🙂 We’ve had to make a couple changes to our delivery pricing today (only very very small ones) which we feel is mutually beneficial for …
Well, hasn’t 2020 been a year like no other? We’re very grateful to still be here, running our business when so many other companies have had to close down. This year, we’ve made some crucial changes, adapting the way we run Veg In a Box to accommodate all those extra orders and lovely customers that …
As of today if you refer a friend to us and they make an order, you could get £5 off your next order! All you have to do is get your friend to let us know you have referred them to us in the order notes at checkout, messaging us (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) or by …
We’ve had a couple customers ask us why we’ve wrapped some items in bags. It’s completely understandable and a perfectly reasonable question, usually all of our fruit and veg is completely free of any packaging. But given whats going on in the world at the moment there’s obviously is a reason for this. With the …
