As things have been a bit crazy lately and we think it’s important for a business to be upfront and honest with it’s customers (especially with customers who are as lovely as ours!) I thought it would be a good idea to give a lil bit of an update as to what’s been going on with us.
Like I said in the previous post, we were not prepared for something like this. But, through some minor changes to our delivery rota and the very small price increases in our popular boxes we have been able to hire new staff and delivery drivers (who are all absolutely incredible and we can’t thank enough!). We are now a well oiled machine, efficient and organised with enough resource to deliver all orders on time wherever they are in our delivery area. We are now working as hard as we can to try to close the gap in our delivery calendar and should have more available delivery dates sooner. Again, thank you so so much to all of our lovely customers for their patience and understanding in regards to this.
Another issue I want to touch on is the importance of getting your order correct. We’ve received quite a few messages asking to amend and add items to orders after they have been made. This is incredibly time consuming for us (even with our extra staff) and it breaks my heart to say but we just cannot do it. So pretty please, make sure you’ve selected everything you want when you order.
Going forward we are going to work our hardest through this scary and uncertain time to get our goodies to our lovely, loyal customers all over the southwest. Especially the elderly and vulnerable. If we all work together I’m more than positive all will be ok.
As you know, here at Veg In A Box we know our pies… and we NEVER settle for second best. Clive’s pies are so good that now we pretty much have every product the produce in stock! Clive started making vegetarian wholemeal pies in 1982, from a small domestic kitchen on the edge of Dartmoor. …
